EUR futures: a deeper pullback is on the cards

In light of CME Group’s advanced figures for EUR futures markets, investors added more than 14K contracts to their open interest positions on Wednesday from Tuesday’s final 489,829 contracts. Volume followed suit, rising by nearly 30.2K contracts.

EUR/USD keeps targeting 1.1320/1.1299

Yesterday’s down move in EUR/USD was on the back of increasing volume and open interest, leaving the door open for a continuation of the decline to, initially, the 200-wee SMA in the 1.1320 region ahead of YTD low at 1.1299.
