USD/JPY hits fresh highs above 102.00
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The USD/JPY is rising on Friday and recently printed a fresh daily high at 102.18, level located a few pips above the price it had when the FOMC statement was released last Wednesday.
The Yen is among the weakest currencies while the US dollar is mostly higher across the board. Currently the USD/JPY trades at 102.15, up 0.20% for the day and 15 pips above last Friday closing price.
USD/JPY and another quiet week
Despite FED’s decision and Yellen’s press conference the USD/JPY moved all week in a range of 60 pips. Bottomed on Monday at 101.70 and peaked at 102.32 on Wednesday following the release of the FOMC statement.
