UK: GDP grows 0.8% in Q1, as expected

FXStreet (Łódź) - On a quarterly basis UK GDP grew 0.8% in Q1, slightly up from the 0.7% rise registered the previous quarter, according to data released today by National Statistics. This result is in line with market consensus.

Year-over-year GDP edged up 3% in Q1, following +2.7% in Q4 and below expectations of 3.1% growth.
